These Terms of Service, together with any documents expressly incorporated by reference herein (these "Terms"), are entered into by and between you and ASTAAD VENTURES PTE. LTD., a Singapore corporation ("Word Wizards", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website at www.wordwizards.sg and our mobile applications available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (collectively, the "Platform"), whether as a guest or a registered user.
By accessing and using Word Wizards ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
These terms apply to all users: students, parents, guardians, educators, and any other person accessing Word Wizards.
Word Wizards is designed for Singapore primary school students (P1–P6, ages 6–12).

All content, features, and intellectual property of Word Wizards (including the platform design, feedback algorithms, vocabulary lists, and UI) are owned by Word Wizards or its licensors. You may not:
Word Wizards uses AI to analyze your compositions and provide feedback. By submitting compositions:
Word Wizards uses third-party services (Stripe for payments). This service has its own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Access to certain features of the Services may require a paid subscription or other purchase ("Purchase"). The available subscription tiers, features, fees, and billing frequencies will be presented to you at the point of sign-up or purchase, and may be updated from time to time. By making a Purchase, you agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes in accordance with the payment terms in effect at the time of the Purchase.
We may, from time to time, offer promotional trial subscriptions that allow you to access our Services for free or at a special discounted price. If you sign up for a trial subscription, your rights to use our Services are limited by the terms of such trial and will terminate or renew according to the terms of your trial arrangement and/or any applicable additional terms presented to you at sign-up.
Trial offers are non-transferable, may not be combined with other offers unless expressly stated, and are limited to one per user or household unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any trial offer at any time, and to cancel or refuse trial access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or misuse.
All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. Word Wizards does not store or have direct access to your full payment card details. By submitting payment information, you authorize our payment processor to charge your selected payment method in accordance with the terms of the subscription or Purchase you have selected.
Unless otherwise specified at the point of Purchase, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate, until cancelled. You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method on each renewal date. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend access to paid features, or terminate your subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the then-current billing cycle, and you will retain access to paid features until that date. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of the current billing cycle.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided in these Terms, all Purchases are non-refundable, including for partial billing cycles, unused features, or unused time following cancellation, downgrade, or account termination.
We may change the fees for our subscriptions and Purchases at any time. Where a change affects an existing subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice (typically by email or in-app notification) before the change takes effect, and the new pricing will apply at your next renewal. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new pricing takes effect.
Please note that we do not provide price protection or refunds for existing subscribers in the event of a price drop or promotional offering for new subscribers.
Word Wizards is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or uptime, accuracy or completeness of AI feedback, suitability for any particular purpose, or freedom from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Word Wizards is not liable for loss of data, compositions, or account access; service interruptions or downtime; inaccurate or harmful AI feedback; third-party service failures; or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
You use Word Wizards at your own risk. You are responsible for keeping your password secure, backing up important compositions (we recommend copying and saving them), and complying with school policies regarding AI tool usage.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Word Wizards, its founders, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, or legal action arising from your violation of these terms, your use of the Service, or your compositions or content submitted.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of Word Wizards at any time. If Word Wizards shuts down, we will provide 30 days' notice to all active users and delete all user data within 90 days of shutdown.
Word Wizards is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect minimal data (email of parent/guardian, username, password, grade level, school info [optional]). We never collect real name or device data. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to access your child's account, request information about how your child's data is used, delete the account, and withdraw consent at any time by contacting contact@wordwizards.sg.
We are committed to protecting children's data and safety. We collect only minimal information (no real name, no device data). Accounts are private by default — compositions are not visible to other users. We never share children's data with third parties. All data is encrypted and securely stored. We comply with Singapore's PDPA and PDPC guidelines for children's data.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Singapore.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of Word Wizards after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Material changes (e.g., pricing increases, new data collection) will be announced with 30 days' notice via email.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be removed, and the remaining terms will continue to apply.
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Word Wizards. All prior agreements and understandings are superseded.
